OUT WITH THE VERY OLD, IN WITH THE NEW

Time has come to throw out my old Nike's and move on to a new fresher and lighter pair. The old ones I had really had forever and they looked like they belonged in a museum by now. Still, lot of training was done in 'em, so I will miss them dearly. 
I already took my shiny new Nike's out for a workout this morning. I love that they're so comfortable, light, and breathe nicely. And considering the amount of time I spend in trainers I couldn't be happier. I'm also planning on pairing them up with some summer dresses and such so stay tuned. WARM UP

As rest of the world is getting ready for fall/winter it's finally starting to warm up in Melbourne. At least for a day or two. Here's one of my last season favorites from Sass & Bide. 

BERRIES AND WINE

I'm in love with my new Mac lipstick! It's in perfect wine red shade that has taken me ages to find. Bit of mascara and an all black outfit and I'm good to go!

BACK TO THE 90s

I have a thing for watches, it's the only accessory I can't leave the house without. I think my first 'real' watch was Casio, before which I had some disney style digital watches. I think before I go full on Michael Kors here with my new found love for gold, I must add this one from the 90s to my humble collection

Acne stepped out at London Fashion week with some seriously cool detailing. I love Acne as it's everything I want from clothes - quality, minimalism, and great detailing. I really can't wait for this collection to hit the stores!

SUNNY SATURDAY

Today was a perfect casual weekend day walking around the city. And finally it was warm enough to wipe the dust off my sandals (or thongs as we call 'em here down under). Also I received some goodies in mail so will post some photos soon.

GOLD DIGGER

Here are the gold pieces that I have recently added to my humble accessories collection. All I'm missing is a proper gold chain bracelet and a gold watch, so the digging continues..

SHOE THAT FITS

Now, I've been in the search for the perfect classical black shoe that goes with everything and is comfortable to walk in, rather than just putting them on, getting a taxi to destination, and then sitting the whole time while shoes on display. And who would be more perfect for classical anything than Hugo Boss. I'm quite surprised by the look of the products, I expected it to be more plain and office boring, but to my great surprise I was wrong. I'm especially loving the sandals, can see myself strutting in them already..

WANT A BOYFRIEND?

As a teenager I used to run around in baggy pants all the time. And I think it's time to do it again! In a slightly more feminine way though. I prefer the style that doesn't look like your old man's pants, but just slightly baggy, teamed up with something light, rather than layering the whole outfit. It's so easy to look effortlessly cool in them. Celebs are rocking the tee + blazer combo but I'd like something more interesting. I found the perfect pair of boyfriend jeans by J Brand, little patience and I'll post some pics once they arrive!

Wore my new blazer out today! I normally can't stand the feeling of velvet, but this one is very soft and doesn't give me the chills. It's super comfy, kind of like wearing a jersey and I loooove the color! It's really hard to find anything in that shade of blue/green now that we're going into spring. This one is obviously last season's as it was on sale, yaay! Also, few nights ago I had a look at some youtube videos how to get the natural looking messy hair so I tried it out this morning. Literally took me one minute. Win!

I love Estonian model Karmen for her street style. It's so effortlessly cool and Melbournean with all the different textures of black. Definitely great inspiration. And as for the last photo...well I'd happily frame it and hang it up!

ANNA DELLO RUSSO FOR H&M

Don't you just love fabulously fashionable people collaborating with brands! I'm head over heels for the sunnies and that crazy big turquoise cuff. Too bad there's no H&M in Melbourne. Wonder whether the collection will also be available online..

CONVERSE GOES WITH EVERYTHING

I wear my Converse probably more than any other shoes, whether with just jeans or a silk dress, doesn't matter. Also, I think they get better as they get older, and dirtier. Next ones I wanna get are the Chuck Taylors pictured above. God knows where I could get them though...

IMPATIENT

               

It's no news that I'm a huge fan of everything Sass & Bide. Right now there are two things that I can't wait for - the annual warehouse sale and the arrival of their next collection (pictured above). I think the jeans will find their way into my wardrobe no worries. Oh yeah, in few days Sass & Bide show is on at NYFW, another thing I can't wait for!
